It turns out the internet’s favourite corporate joint venture was just business after all. There was a huge plot twist, and it caught everyone at the University of North Carolina off guard. 

Reports have confirmed that 74-year-old head coach  Bill Belichick and his 25-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, secretly split late last year! While the internet spent all season dissecting her game-day sideline appearances, the dynamic duo was apparently just pulling off a PR stunt. 

They maintained their brand partnership while quietly going their separate ways. Social media exploded after getting the news via TMZ TV and TMZ Sports. The picture read, “Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson quietly broke up almost a year ago.” The caption read, “Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson called it quits late last year, and there's already been another person in the picture…TMZ Sports has learnt.” 

What did the fans have to say?

Well, the fans were pretty shocked, and also some were nonchalant. The reactions were pretty mixed up. One fan with the username @conservativekay1.0 said, “49-year age difference is a lot of difference 😂” 

Another comment by @katrina.acosta14 said, “Why is she at the games and on the field then?” One person by the name @bryanunderwater said, “This made me not believe in love anymore.”

One follower by the username @theemeraldwilsonbey said, “That’s good for him because the role she took started to be a bad look for him. Hope they're still friends though, but this was for the best.” One follower by the name @noah.emch said, “And we started winning this year.” Another fan by the name @fuzzypawsnclaws hilariously said, “If this relationship can't last, what hope is there for the rest of us?”

This relationship ended months later in 2025 after the New York Times said in May 2025 that Hudson had told at least one person that she and Bill were engaged. The two apparently met on a flight in 2021, and by the time they split, Hudson was a fixture in his professional life. Hudson is still around because she works as the manager for Bill’s own business operations.
